National - SIR - Special Intensive Revision - Successfully completed and Final draft roll published. It was acknowledged in the Supreme Court. By Nov 7th Supreme court will give a final verdict on it. The following are the highlights of the Bihar SIR 2025
- 65 Lakhs voters deleted, which includes 22 lakhs of voters who are dead, Voters migrated to other states, Duplicate Entries or Multiple entries
- 35 Lakhs new voters included. Cleanup of the Electoral Voter Rolls done in a massive scale. Usual troops of people who says there upholding the democracy went to the Supreme Court stating that this is a massive scale of deleting the non-bjp supporters from the Voter List etc., But not a single case they were able to produce the evidence in the Supreme Court. They tried presenting few voters with the details stating these are the eligible voters who have been denied the right to vote - But EC gave evidence that they have multiple voter entries; even they mentioned in the court that the congress party coerced them.
Bihar : ECI announced the Bihar General Election Schedule - to be conducted in 2 phases; First phase in 6th November 2025; Second phase in 11th November 2025; Counting and Results to be announced in 14th November 2025; We need to wait and see who comes to power. Congress Rahul has been reduced to an extra fitting; even he didn't joined the electoral vehicle for first week of campaigning.
NDA as usual is going on full swing with clear strategy - expected to form the government; Always elections are 'People' hands cannot be predicted, but ground support says that Nitish will win this time also; Tough Contest awaits - Let's see what will be the outcome on Nov 14th 2025.
SIR announced in 12 States which are going to the polls in the next 6-8 months. As usual TN (DMK and Allies), WB (TMC and Allies), KL (Left and Allies) is against the SIR - usual reasons that non-bjp supporters will be removed from the electoral rolls. It is well known that the SIR will be conducted by the State Government EC with the directions issued by the ECI.
General News : GST Bajat - it was a windfall tax collection for the month of Sep - Oct 25 even with the GST Rate Cut about 1.95 lakh crore. Total Navratri-Diwali festival sales clocked about 6.05 lakh crore rupees that is about 80 billion dollars sale (A Dead Economy!!!) Best sales ever recorded by the Car Industry - Maruti, Tata, Hyundai, Mahindra etc., Maruti sales enquiry was about 3.5 to 4 lakh, Tata delivered 1 lakh cars etc., Across the spectrum of Industries - Retails, MSME's, Exports - it was a windfall sales and tax collections - Income Tax rebate for 12 Lakhs per annum and GST rate cut to about 99 items all made good festival sales and it is continuing the momentum.
Sports : History made Indian Women Cricket won the 50 over One Day World Cup on 2nd November in the final beating South Africa. It was great performance when you look back that india lost 3 matches consecutively in the world cup finals - against Australi, England and New Zealand. But made a great comeback beating Australia in the Semis and SA in the final. SA Woolvordt made a great century but in the lost cause. Great won - this should take the indian women cricket to great heights.
